We are now looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner who wants to join us on the journey focused on upgrade of Baltic Payments infrastructure as target architecture guides and on top creating new innovative real-time and other market-leading payment solutions. And all of this in adherence to payment industry standards and regulations.

As an Agile Product Owner, you’ll responsible for what to build and to maximizing the value of Baltic Payments investment opportunities and the work of the cross functional team in balance between new functionality, maintenance, lifecycle and regulatory items. That to be realised through team backlog’s prioritisation. Certainly, Agile Product Owner role is collaborative role that takes extensive help from the team members in the cross functional team and other stakeholders.

Excellent communication is essential, as you will need to communicate with your team and many other teams in the company. You will work as a key member of an Agile product development team to represent the customer needs and help create and refine requirements and features while forming mutual understanding across the development team and stakeholders. You’ll be the one ensuring that team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on. It is expected that you’ll provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint goals.

You’ll act as service owner of assigned payment IT services meaning, that together with team you will need to ensure them being stable and reliable, manage problem, incident and crisis situations in an event of any.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, communication and co-operation skills, also for someone who has an aspiration to make a high positive impact and to do great things for the customer, for your team, for yourself and for the bank!

 

About you
  • You can prove your 3+ years’ experience working in an Agile team, which confirms you having in-depth knowledge of Agile process and working principles.
  • Business acumen in Payments domain would be very big success factor for you in this role!
  • But at the same time, you have not only good business knowledge, but you’re well aware in technical terms also.
  • You demonstrate outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills, ability to delegate and follow-up.
  • You hold a talent and willingness to manage uncertainty and complexity.
  • You’re a strong team-player showing a social competence (listen, ask questions, build trust, engage).
  • You can be described as creative thinker having internal drive and personal efficiency.
  • You feel strong ownership for what is delivered.
  • You have sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stressful situations are not scaring you.
  • You act in an adaptive style that is flexible and effective in gaining cooperation with others and maintaining collaborative partnerships in the team and across the organization.
  • Academic degree in engineering, business administration or any other relevant discipline.
  • You wish to work with cross-border teams and you’re proficient in English (both written and spoken).
