In this role, you will contribute to the success of WU Platform Product by reviewing complex business processes, recommending improvements to support business activities, and documenting business requirements and process flows.

This role contributes to the success of WU Platform Product by reviewing complex business processes, recommending improvements to support business activities, and documenting business requirements and process flows. The position will work closely with various departments and vendors to maintain a best-in-class customer experience and resolve escalated issues. In addition, this role will oversee the exception processing and drive optimization in the WU Digital product offering.

• End-to-end ownership of the assigned agile board.

• Gathering new requirements, features, and changes from product managers and translating them into user stories, epics, etc.

• Make sure the board is utilized at full capacity.

• Responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing changes for both new and existing payment methods.

• Responsible for optimization roadmap and backlog.

• Review card network, regulatory, market updates, and complete impact assessments.

• Support new product launches with detailed and regular communication to stakeholders.

• Responsible for driving revenue, decreasing loss, decreasing exceptions, and improving customer experience.

• Actively work with the project management team to complete detailed business requirements, assesses impacts of projects, and ensure key tasks are incorporated to project plans. Engage in project releases and user acceptance testing.

• Lead projects to identify control gaps and support continuous process improvement Works closely with internal audit and stakeholders to conduct reviews to ensure controls are maintained and SLAs are achieved.

• Provide accurate and timely communication to stakeholders.

What you will need to succeed:

• 1-3 years of payments or financial industry experience.

• 1-3 years of product owner/manager experience.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to create presentations and process flows.

• Advanced skills in building and running database queries.

• Project management experience.

• Experience in an agile environment.

What will make you stand out:

• Experience in global payments e-commerce role, required focus on customer-not-present, preferred experience as a merchant or banking institution.

• Good understanding of the business processes and knowledge of the banking products and distribution channels.

• Experience managing and optimizing payment product flows

• Deep understanding of Cards, ACH, Bank transfer payment methods and settlement.

• Exposure to risk management and modeling is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with many departments and levels of Management.

• Proven ability to effectively analyze data and present solid recommendations.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle stringent deadlines.

• Proven ability to work across teams to develop and document business requirements.

• Familiarity with information technology implementation and or systems development and implementation lifecycles from both IT and functional (business) perspectives.

The monthly gross base salary range is 2473 – 4104 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
