Better requires process discipline and simplification
Here are some responsibilities you will have:

• Purchasing materials and supplies from vendors
• Executing buying strategies based on established buying plans to obtain the most quality at the lowest cost
• Monitoring day-to-day supplier performance, addressing customer issues, and acting as a liaison between suppliers, commodity managers, and internal customers in problem resolution
• Having the authority to commit the organization to purchases up to a predetermined dollar amount
• Networking across Western Union globally and building strong relationships with stakeholders
• Working globally with business partners in technology, legal, privacy, information security, accounts payable, procurement, and internal business units to determine areas of opportunity for process improvement, aggregation of purchases, total cost reduction, risk mitigation, technology proofs of concept, and data security

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management of goods and services
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to procurement, sourcing, or finance

The monthly gross base salary range is 1524 – 2398 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health, accident, and life insurance options, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
