Asset Accounting Process Expert

I am Laura Širvinskaitė, leading Asset Accounting and GL Reconciliation Team at Telia Finance Shared Services in Telia Global Services Lithuania - a competency hub working with cutting-edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics. I am looking for an Asset Accounting Process Expert to join a highly professional team.

You are expected to support our stakeholders, the business, with expertise to ensure projects and asset-related processes run smoothly, gaps are identified and eliminated. You will actively engage in process improvements as well as standardization. To excel in the role, you need to be a challenge-driven, ambiguity-tolerant person who is keen on working in a dynamic environment. A person who can focus and deliver on multiple objectives as well as be interested in developing various processes. What is more, you should have a natural aptitude and interest in the IT side of things as well as finance.

 Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Accounting of fixed assets according to local, international, and industry-specific accounting requirements
• Constant maintenance of fixed asset ledger
• Delivery of timely and accurate financial information compliant with accounting standards, laws & regulations
• Solving complex asset accounting operational issues that have a broad impact on business
• Working with processes deviations, root cause analysis, improvements
• Business casing improvements, bringing to respective forums and following its execution until implemented
• Onboarding new services/process changes to operations (i.e., knowledge, team training/follow-ups & stabilization)
• Communication and collaboration with stakeholders in relation to asset accounting
• Driving and leading continuous improvement culture
• Participation in company’s projects where expertise is needed
• Mentorship/coaching of team members.

Your experience and skills: 

• >2 years of experience in Asset Accounting
• Experience in SAP
• Fluent in written and spoken English 
• Advanced excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivots, etc.) 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Good problem-solving skills using structured problem-solving methods.

Working in this position you will receive a base salary of 2600 - 3200Eur (gross) depending on your experience, plus annual bonuses depending on your individual achievements and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has an additional employee benefits package which includes:
