We are in the progress of transitioning our on-premise applications into the cloud and for that we need a DevOps engineer to join our Platform & Observability squad that support our tribe, Welcoming & Orchestration.
In the Welcoming & Orchestration Tribe, we are responsible for Welcoming all new customers joining Danske Bank and ensuring existing customers can order the products they want digitally and fast.
Were on a digital acceleration journey where self-service is the way forward. Onboarding and product ordering are a strategic priority for Danske Bank, where were tasked with developing scalable solutions with high attention to delivering great customer experience.
Youll be joining an agile team of highly skilled IT professionals working closely together in an informal atmosphere across Lithuania, Denmark, Poland and India. We want you as part of our Vilnius team.

You will:
- Ensure Danske Bank mature its DevOps culture
- Assist different teams with understanding Terraform, CI/CD and other tooling
- Build and enhance our Kubernetes setup in AWS
- Join a group of practice leads that set standards for the tribe
- Take ownership and explore new ways of automating
- Explore how the tribe can make better use of the public cloud setup we currently have
About you:
- 4+ years experience working with DevOps
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar tool
- Practical experience with containerization, customize and container orchestration tooling (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS or similar)
- Practical experience with Amazon cloud
- Practical experience with Terraform
- Able to guide others in improving the DevOps culture
- Understand how the development process is from a developers perspective (GitOps)
- Advanced skills in English
We offer
Monthly salary range from 3520 EUR to 5280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
