Danske Bank 1st Line Financial Crime Transformation, Risk and Control are looking for a motivated and skilled individual who can lead and manage the business logic design for Know Your Customer (KYC) data. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in data governance principles and data led design and will be familiar with creating business specifications which can be used by technology teams to build data solutions.
You will be a part of the Financial Crime KYC Controls team and will support Danske Bank to abide with relevant legal and regulatory KYC. This will be accomplished by the definition of risk-based data design that will generate cases to be reviewed, in a time effective manner, while reducing costs and improving quality during the review process.

You will:
- Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders in Operations, Compliance and Technology teams to align business needs with regulatory requirements and data governance frameworks for Financial Crime KYC processes
- Engage with Data Owners, Technology, and SMEs to identify and document critical data requirements, inconsistencies or gaps
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support governance, quality, and risk assessment across Financial Crime KYC data assets. Support reporting and production of reporting. Provide insights to the team
- Identify and define business rules, functional requirements, and data processes to support the management and governance of data and improve efficiency of data handling practices
- Assist in implementing Data Governance solutions, including requirements clarification, business use case design, testing and roll out
About you:
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working with business users, application teams, and technical staff
- Experience in business analysis, data analysis, data governance, data modelling, trend forecasting, and data quality management
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly interpret, understand, assimilate, and analyse complex data sets and develop meaningful insights to inform governance decisions
- Experience of analysing and documenting business processes, with the ability to investigate, review, visualise and articulate, and solve problems
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Relevant Skills:
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations
- Understanding of Master Data Management and reference data
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in combating financial crimes
- Results and delivery focused in a project delivery environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, with experience in business process and data flow modelling
- Advanced English skills
It is also a plus if you hold a relevant bachelor or masters degree and a professional certification such as CAMS or ICA highly desirable. Finally, technical qualifications or experience would be advantageous as well as experience of project management and relevant methodologies
We offer
Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
