Position Description:
We are looking for a modern AI-Enabled Business Analyst to support payment & core banking development in a Finnish banking environment. The role combines business analysis, payment domain expertise, regulatory understanding and practical use of AI and automation.
The ideal candidate will work across business, technology, risk and compliance to translate business needs into clear requirements and measurable outcomes. You will be a part of highly skilled team including other BAs and technical personnel.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements into clear actions.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across product, operations, compliance, risk, IT and vendors.
- Support testing, release readiness, and post-release validation.
- Maintain strong traceability from business objective to requirement, test case, and control evidence.
- Work with data and technical delivery teams to improve payment data quality, traceability and operational reporting.
- Support AI-enabled delivery: including work order requirement analysis and drafting.
- Contribute to Financial Crime Management requirements. Support real-time fraud detection use cases by specifying business rules, alert logic, case-handling flows, and escalation criteria. Translate FIN-FSA, AML, sanctions, GDPR, and internal control expectations into implementation-ready requirements and acceptance criteria.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, payments, digital banking, financial crime or process development.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, clearing, settlement, exception handling and core banking.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills e.g. root cause analysis and solution proposal
- Practical experience with fraud prevention, AML monitoring and sanctions screening.
- Ability to write clear user stories, business requirements, process models and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments with product owners, developers, architects and testers.
- Familiarity with APIs and data integration concepts.
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian required.
It is considered a heavy plus, if experience on:
- Temenos
- Professional certifications such as SaFe, CBAP, PMI-PBA, ICA, ACAMS or relevant data/AI training
- Finnish language skills
