Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow one of our high-performing engineering teams building business-critical solutions on the .NET and MS SQL technology stack. In this role, you’ll combine people leadership with strong technical understanding, ensuring the team delivers reliable, scalable, and well-engineered systems that support our operations and digital transformation.

You will own delivery, engineering quality, and team growth — guiding how your team designs, builds, and operates the systems they’re responsible for. Working closely with Product and Architecture, you’ll help drive technical decisions and move the wider system landscape toward modern, scalable solutions.

You will:

Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional engineering team working with .NET and MS SQL technologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of technical solutions that align with business objectives and product roadmaps.
Work closely with architects to uphold engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable solutions across the tech stack.
Implement and evolve agile development processes, track team performance, and remove blockers to enable success.
Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
Support planning and prioritization of initiatives, ensuring optimal team capacity and resource allocation.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Hands-on background with the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET) and MS SQL databases.
Solid understanding of modern development practices, architecture principles, and CI/CD.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in an agile environment and delivering large-scale digital products.
Fluency in English.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills):

Experience with large-scale system modernization, refactoring legacy .NET solutions, or migrating monoliths toward microservices.
Familiarity with cloud-hosted .NET workloads (Azure preferred) and MS SQL database performance tuning.

Salary: 6000 – 7000 € gross per month, depending on your experience and qualifications.
