Requirements for candidates

What We're Looking For

Understanding of website structures, functionality, and web-scraping concepts.
Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and basic data structures.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and learn new technologies quickly.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across teams.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong accountability and adaptability.

For the Data Engineer level, additional experience with Python, SQL, complex crawling solutions, and independent project delivery is preferred.

Nice to Have

Interest in Data Engineering, Web Scraping, and Market Research.
Experience working in cross-functional environments.
Passion for continuous learning and developing expertise in data collection technologies.

Job description

As a Data Engineer, you will help build and maintain web-crawling solutions that collect high-quality data from websites. You'll work with modern web technologies, ethical web-scraping practices, and collaborate with teams across Research, Data Science, and Technology.

For the Data Engineer level, you will also:

Conduct website feasibility assessments for new projects.
Provide guidance on web-scraping approaches and best practices.
